So great to work with some young athletes today from Melbourne Propulsion Swimming Club.
Our focus was on pre pilates basic movements that challenge the deep muscles which support our body. Imbalance is there in everyone ( athlete or not ) being aware and having the capacity to slow down & tune in is very important for improved athletic performance & all over life happiness.

I love the synergies of breath & movement, taking

I love the synergies of breath & movement, taking it across multiple sports or recreational interests. I recently re visited free diving & breath hold by participating in a course with Angus @beunderwater - it was so informative & awesome to practise. The art of relaxation in the pool & training our capacity to hold CO2, I’m excited for our ocean trip soon. I highly recommend challenging yourself & enjoying the wonderful knowledgable teachers that are so willing to share their knowledge & passion. Angus is a great guy, super fun, funny & on to it.

It was such a privilege to teach a few Pilates Mat

It was such a privilege to teach a few Pilates Mat classes for the incredible Kate James recent retreat in Byron Bay. A beautiful location for a lovely group of woman that came on a 5 day wellness retreat led by Kate. Kates work spans a few decades & she is most respected for her dedication to meditation & helping others through her coaching business @total_balance
To be invited to teach was such a lovely gesture for me, I have been meditating daily for over a year now & its truly made such a difference to my life, so to be aligned with such a kind person as Kate & help her help others was a real career high. A-lot of my work is helping people gain a greater understanding of their bodies & also minds. Pilates is a great was to gain access to these parts of ourselves.
Check out Kates work she is amazing & has a few books also.
@sangsurya_retreat_centre was the tranquil location.
Kate will be back next year & I look forward to joining her & her guests again for more Mat classes.

Pilates is not just reformer, here I show some controlled movements on the chair, integrating breath & strong abdominals, co ordination & control.
I use varying equipment & teach with a range of props & help people with lots of different things going on. It’s so fun & interesting, i love my job.
