In 2014 Joe Knight from One Ocean International & Fiona Duncan Pilates teamed up to bring you OCEAN FIT Camps.

This is a course for any ocean loving female or male!

We designed Ocean Fit to combine the skills of Joe Knight’s waterman(woman)ship training and Fiona Duncan’s Pilates to offer our clients the chance to become and all rounded fitter, stronger & more knowledgeable ocean minded lover! This course is for the recreational ocean goer or the charger looking to really step up a level!

We cover aspects of Pilates practical for you to gain better body awareness and control, strength to have more power in the ocean, also more flexibility within your body! Joe’s Waterman(women)ship training will help you gain more understanding of your bodies ability to maintain an increased level of C02 while under the water! How to manage this and ways to train so you are better equipt mentally and physically for the ocean and the array of conditions you will endure as an ocean loving person! Whether you are a surfer, swimmer, stand up paddler, free diver, snorkeler, diver or fisherman, education and preparation are all essential in gaining more from your sport!

I love the synergies of breath & movement, taking I love the synergies of breath & movement, taking it across multiple sports or recreational interests. I recently re visited free diving & breath hold by participating in a course with Angus @beunderwater - it was so informative & awesome to practise. The art of relaxation in the pool & training our capacity to hold CO2, I’m excited for our ocean trip soon. I highly recommend challenging yourself & enjoying the wonderful knowledgable teachers that are so willing to share their knowledge & passion. Angus is a great guy, super fun, funny & on to it.
