Please come along and join my Post Natal Pilates Class, this class is open to any Mum. From beginner to advanced your newborn must be over 6 weeks and it is great if you get clearance from your Doctor too!
Pilates is a great way to get back into movements after your child birth. By taking it slowly and gently we will practice deep abdominal and pelvic floor engaging, we will help you re-align your spine, balance out your muscles and help relieve tired aches and pains that come with being a Mum.
I teach the class along with my 14 month old son Tully.
The class is open to any Mum with their child, so long as you think your child will be ok playing with toys and with the other kids I don’t wish to place too many boundaries ( in regards to age, or number of children ) on the class. I will help look after the kids as much as I can and help you also understand and practice the exercises. We always have a good chat too so it is a neat way to meet other like minded Mums and move your body in a positive way.
I encourage my fellow Mums to take it slowly and enjoy the Journey into Motherhood, I had an Emergency C- section so I know all about slow recovery. Being a physical person I understand how challenging it can be to want to rush into being back to our old self. Often we are not told much about our recovery and it is all about the birth etc, recovery is just as important for you as a new mum. I will support you to recover slowly and regain your confidence.
