Surfers Healing
Hola!
On February 18th Surfers Healing came to Currumbin QLD, Australia. With a very carefully organized event the day took 200 kids out surfing on SUP boards with selected Surfers mostly from Hawaii and USA. These water men ( legends ) travel with the organization and are experienced to ensure safety is a priority. The kids get to paddle out the back ( conditions pending ) and experience the thrill of riding waves, either standing or lying on the board with the helpful water men ( women ) right with them!
Surfers Healing is a organization that takes Autistic Kids surfing, to share with them the Joy of the ocean and the pacifying affect it has on us humans.
Surfers Healing operate in many countries and are a fabulous non profit company doing amazing things for many families around the globe that live day in day out with Autism.
It was awesome to catch up with some old friends and enjoy the atmosphere, I wasn’t much help being heavily pregnant! Please enjoy the photo’s and check out the website on how you can help out!
